6. Press and hold the power button until the screen changes from the Welch Allyn logo to a dark
screen. This can take several seconds.
The screen displays Update file found. Processing... and the software update installs.
7. Once the software update files are installed, the vision screener automatically restarts.
8. Remove the USB drive.
Check the software version to ensure that the update was successful
1. Perform Steps 1 through 4 in the first section of this instruction sheet to view the software
version.
2. Confirm that the software version number reflects the updated version change.
