and room ventilation (in compliance with

IGNITION PROCEDURE

Turn knob B from
Press knob B fully in and hold it there; now
press the piezoelectric igniter C.
Check for a fl ame though hole A. Once
the fl ame is on, continue holding knob B
pressed in for a further 20 seconds or so.
If the pilot fl ame does not stay on, repeat
the above procedure.

SETTING THE WATER TEMPERATURE
Knob B can be used to set the hot water
temperature.
Turn the knob from the ignition position
to the index corresponding to the de-
sired temperature: from 1 (around 42°C) to
7 (around 70°C).
To reduce gas consumption and run the ap-
pliance more effi ciently, it is best to leave
the knob at setting 5 (around 60°C).
This temperature also reduces the forma-
tion of limescale inside the water heater,
when the water supply is very hard (exces-
sive calcium content).
WARNING!
Water heated to more than 50°C
can cause serious burns. Always check
the temperature of the water before us-
ing it.
SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE OFF
To switch the appliance off , turn knob B
to
(off ).
SUGGESTONS FOR USE
Make sure that all hot water taps are tight
and do not leak, as any leaks cause use
of gas and can increase the water tem-
perature.
