Mounting directly to a wall
Note: For instructions on mounting to a junction box, see the previous page.
To mount the wall controller to a wall:
1. Route the customer-supplied CAT5 cable from the fan through the hole in the back controller cover.
2. Mount the back cover to the wall with four (4) suitable customer-supplied mounting screws.
3. Remove the plastic enclosure from the back of the controller by pinching the sides of the enclosure and carefully pulling it off of the
controller as shown below.
4. Connect the CAT5 cable to the controller, and then mount the controller to the back cover with the three (3) provided 6-19 x 5/16"
pan head screws (a).
5. Attach the front cover of the controller with the two (2) provided 4-40 x 3/8" pan head screws (b), and then snap on the control knob.
Ensure the control knob is oriented as shown.
