Photo Mode : Setting the Capturing Options
Setting the White Balance
The White Balance allows calibration of the picture for accurate colour display in
different lighting conditions. We recommended setting the white balance prior to
any photo capturing.
1. Press the [POWER] button to turn on the Sports
Camcorder.
◆ The Movie Record screen appears.
2. Set the
Photo
mode by pressing the [MODE] button.
◆ The Photo Capture screen appears.
3. Press the [MENU] button.
Move the [Joystick] left / right to select <White
Balance>.
4. Move the [Joystick] up / down to select an option, and
then press the [Joystick(OK)].
◆ To set Custom, frame your Sports Camcorder on a
white area (such as a wall), filling the LCD monitor with
white colour. Press the [Joystick(OK)] to set.

Fluorescent
Suitable for a fluorescent light environment.
Tungsten
Suitable for an incandescent light environment.
Adjusts the white balance based on the shooting

5. Press the [MENU] button to exit the menu.
◆ The selected function icon is displayed.
◆ If <Auto> is selected, no icon will be displayed.
[ Notes ]
✤ When taking pictures outdoors, <Auto> setting will allow
you to obtain the best results.
✤ As the lighting condition changes, set the appropriate
white balance before taking a picture.
✤ The subject used for <Custom> should be white colour.
If not, the colour balance will not be natural.
✤ While the menu screen is displayed, pressing the [Record
/ Stop] button will move to Photo Capture mode.

El balance de blancos permite la calibración de la imagen para lograr la
visualización precisa del color en condiciones de iluminación diferentes. Antes
de capturar una foto, recomendamos ajustar el balance de blanco.

1. Pulse el botón [POWER] para encender la
Videocámara Deportiva.
◆ Aparece la pantalla de grabación de vídeo.
2. Ajuste el modo
Photo (Foto)
pulsando el botón
[MODE].
◆ Aparece la pantalla Photo Capture (Captura foto).
3. Pulse el botón [MENU].
Mueva el [Joystick] a la izquierda / derecha para
seleccionar <White Balance> (Bal. Blanco).
4. Mueva el [Joystick] arriba / abajo para seleccionar
una opción y pulse el [Joystick(OK)].
◆ Para definir Custom (Personal), encuadre la
Videocámara Deportiva en un área blanca (como
una pared), llenando la pantalla LCD de color
blanco. Pulse el Joystick(OK) para definirlo.
Se ajusta automáticamente de acuerdo con el
Auto
entorno de disparo.
Daylight
Ajusta el color de acuerdo con la luz del día, sí es
(Luz de día)
interior o si es exterior.
Fluorescent
Ideal para entornos con luz fluorescente.
(Fluorescente)
Tungsten
(Tungsteno) Ideal para entornos con luz incandescente.
Custom
Ajusta el balance de blanco basándose en el
(Personal)
entorno de disparo.
5. Pulse el botón [MENU] para salir del menú.
◆ Aparece el icono de la función seleccionada.
◆ Si se selecciona <Auto>, no aparecerá ningún
icono.
[Notas]
✤ Al tomar imágenes en exteriores, el ajuste <Auto>
permitirá obtener los mejores resultados.
✤ Según cambie las condiciones de luz, ajuste el balance
de blancos apropiado antes de tomar una imagen.
✤ El objeto utilizado para <Custom> (Personal) debe ser
de color blanco. Si no lo es, el balance de colores no
será natural.
✤ Mientras aparece el menú en pantalla, si se pulsa el
botón [Record / Stop] (Grabar / Detener) se pasará al
modo de captura de foto.
