2.1
General safety
Caution – danger of electrocution
Check that the voltage specification on the type plate is the
same as that of the power supply.
Only connect the device to 24 V
If you intend to run the device on 12 V
with a 12 V lamp.
If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced to pre-
vent possible electrical hazards.
Disconnect the cooling device and other electric consumers
from the battery before you connect the battery to a quick charg-
ing device. Overvoltage can damage the electronics of the de-
vice.
Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
This appliance may only be repaired by qualified personnel. In-
adequate repairs can cause considerable hazards.
If you device should need repairing, please contact WAECO
customer service.
Do not open the refrigerant circuit under any circumstances!
The cooler is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or
materials containing solvents.
Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.
2.2
Operating the device safely
In order to work properly, the cooler must have been standing
upright for at least an hour before you switch it on.
Always switch off the cooler before tilting the cab. Before switch-
ing the cooler on again, let it stand for at least 15 minutes after
lowering the cab.
Do not place any electrical devices inside the cooler.
Install the device in a dry location where it is protected against
splashing water.
Do not install the device near naked flames or other heat
sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc).
