Energy saving tips

Allow hot food to cool down first before you place it into the device.
Do not open the cooler more often than necessary.
Do not leave the cooler open for longer than necessary.
Avoid unnecessarily low temperature settings.

Using the cooler

Caution – danger of overheating
Ensure at all times that there is sufficient ventilation so that the heat
that is generated during operation can dissipate. Ensure that the
ventilation slots are not covered. Make sure that the device is suf-
ficiently far away from walls and other objects so that the air can
circulate.
Caution – danger from excessively low temperature
Ensure that the only those objects are placed in the cooler that are
intended to be cooled at the selected temperature.
➤ Switch the device on by turning the temperature controller (fig. 1 A,
page 3) clockwise.
✓ The cooler starts cooling the interior.
➤ Set the cooling temperature using the temperature control knob.
Turn right = colder, turn left = warmer.
Note
If you do not intend to use the cooler for a prolonged period, leave
it slightly open. This prevents smells from building up.

Cleaning and maintenance

Caution – danger of damaging the device
Never clean the appliance under running water or in dish water.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during clean-
ing as these can damage the device.
➤ Occasionally clean the inside of the device with a damp cloth.
