Electrical connection
DANGER – Risk of electric shock if connec-
tions are not or not correctly grounded or
from incorrect mains voltage.
Incorrect phase, neutral and ground connec-
tions can cause electric shocks, heart failure
and fatalities!
¶
Work on electrical installations or equip-
ment is only to be performed by qualified
electricians or trained personnel under the
guidance and supervision of an electrician.
¶
Even minor work on the electrical system
is only to be performed by appropriately
trained and qualified personnel.
¶
The MERCURE 200 is only to be connected
to the power supply if the mains voltage
available corresponds to the rated voltage
given on the rating plate.
¶
Check the grounding before connecting
the MERCURE 200.
¶
Use the type of power cord specified for
the country concerned.
¶
Only connect to an appropriate approved
grounding-type socket.
¶
In the event of operating problems, switch
off immediately by way of the On/Off
switch, disconnect the power cord and
consult the "Faults" section of the operat-
ing instructions.(cap. 12).
i The MERCURE 200 must be connected to the power
supply by way of protective fuses or an automatic
circuit breaker or a single-pole disconnector with at
least 3 mm contact gap in accordance with European
standards. The customer is responsible for providing
fuse protection for the mains connection.
i The power cord included in the scope of delivery of
the machine is provided with a standardized connec-
tor in line with European standards.

i The correct direction of rotation is indicated by an
adhesive on the right side of the MERCURE 200
(chap.1.2.1).
i If the direction of rotation is incorrect, the
MERCURE 200 comes to an immediate stop and dis-
plays the error message ERR 3 (see section 12).
