MANTEL ASSEMBLY
caUtiON: Place a piece of cardboard or protective sheet on the floor in order to avoid
scratching the decorative surface of your mantel during assembly.
Please DO NOT fully tighten the screws until all panels are assembled.
Step 1: Attach 28 plastic connectors [X] to panels C, F, G, J and K with 56 long screws [W]
(2 long screws for each connector). See Fig. A.
NOtE: If the screw(s) do not fit during assembly, loosen the 2 screws to adjust the plastic
connector until the panel/screws can be installed.
Step 2: Attach 8 shelf support pins [Td] to panels F, G, J and K, as shown in Fig. B.

Step 3: Attach panels F, G, J and K to the base panel [D] with 6 long screws [W]. See Fig. C.
Step 4: Place the left back panel [L] in between panels F and J. Place the right back panel
[M] in between panels G and K. Attach 8 mounting screws [U] to panels L and M,
as shown in Fig. D.
