OPERATION
After completely reading the instructions, confirm all the controls on the fireplace are
in the OFF position. Plug the fireplace into a 15 AMP/120 Volt outlet. If the cord does not
reach, you may use an extension cord rated for a minimum of No. 14 AWG, 1875 watts.
Once the fireplace insert has been properly connected to a grounded electrical outlet, it
is ready to operate.
OPERATION BY THE CONTROL PANEL
The controls are located at the right corner of the insert.
0/i: Press this button for main power. The unit will beep and the indicator light will turn
on. Press again to turn off the main power.
: To adjust the temperature to your individual requirements, turn the temperature
control dial to the right (clockwise) to increase the temperature and to the left
(counter clockwise) to decrease the temperature. This temperature control dial
can only be used while the 0/I switch (on the control panel) and the 750W/1500W
switches (on the remote) are in the ON position.
Note: When the O/I switch is turned off, all other heater functions will stop even though
the switches may be in the ON position.
Note: In order to shut down the heater safely, it is recommended that you turn the
temperature control knob to the lowest setting and allow the heater to cool down before
pressing the O/I switch to the OFF position.
OPERATION BY THE REMOTE CONTROL
Plug in your electric fireplace and turn the O/I button to the ON position. Your remote is
ready to operate your electric fireplace.
: Press this button once to turn on the fireplace.
The unit will beep. Press again to turn off the
fireplace; the fan will continue to work for 5
seconds without heat.
: Press this button once to turn on the flame
effect. The unit will beep. Press again to increase
the flame intensity. There are 6 light intensities
for your selection: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Pressing the
button again will turn off the flame function.
750w: Press this button once for low heat. The unit will
beep and the fireplace will give off a low level of
heat. Press again to turn off the low heat level
function.
1500w: Press this button once for high heat. The unit
will beep and the fireplace will give off a high
level of heat. Press again to turn off the high
heat level function.
REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Replace with a CR2025 battery. Follow the diagram at the back of remote handset to
install the new battery.

The bulbs in your unit can become extremely hot. Allow at least 10 minutes between
turning off the unit and removing the light bulbs to prevent the accidental burning of skin.

LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT
Step 1: Remove the 2 screws on the front of the fireplace and open the glass window.
Step 2: Remove the screws from both sides of the log set bed.
Step 3: Remove the log-set bed and you will find 2 x 40W light bulbs.
Step 4: Loosen and remove the burnt out bulb(s) and replace with new bulb(s).
Step 5: Set the log-set bed back into place and re-attach the screws.
Step 6: Close the glass window and re-attach the screws.
