USE
• Never iron over zips, rivets in jeans, etc. These will damage the soleplate. Iron around
any such objects.
• The steam generator's holder for the iron will become hot. Do not touch it whilst you
are ironing.
• Never point the soleplate at persons during use, steam is very hot.
• Check whether ironing-instruction labels are attached to clothing. Always observe any
such
instructions.
• Do not remove cap from the body of the generator at any time.

DRY IRONING

1. Fill the water reservoir (0.8l Max.).
2. Put the iron on the steam generator's holder.
3. Put the plug in the wall socket.
4. Turn on the ON/OFF switch and turn the iron's temperature-control dial (No.2) to
adjust the temperature to the required setting. The iron starts heating.
5. Adjust the temperature in accordance with the directions given in table 1.
6. When the indicator light on the iron turns off, the temperature is reached. You now
can start ironing.

STEAM IRONING

When not using the steam function for some time during the ironing process, the
existing steam in the pipe connecting the boiler will condense. When using again the
steam function is normal leave small drops of water.
To prevent water droplets falling on the garment you are ironing, place the iron on an
old tissue and press the steam until the steam output returns to normal.
1. Fill the water reservoir (0.8l Max.).
2. Put the iron on the steam generator's holder.
3. Put the plug in the wall socket.
4. Set the on/off switch steam generator to 'I'. The steam generator starts to pump the
water and heat it. The indicator light "steam ready" illuminates when steam is ready.
6. Meanwhile adjust the temperature by turning the iron's temperature-control dial to
the required setting. Adjust the temperature in accordance with the directions given in
table 1.
