Always keep this manual at the place where this device is used.
Do not use this device to charge batteries, defrost pipes or start engines. It must be used solely for welding operations.
Only expert staff can install, operate, maintain and repair this device. An expert staff member means someone who can
judge the work assigned to them and recognise possible risks based on their vocational training, knowledge and expe-
rience.
The installation and management of this device/system must comply with the IEC EN 60974-4 standard.
Liability regarding system operation is expressly limited to the system's function. Further liability of any kind is expres-
sly excluded. This exclusion of liability is acknowledged upon commissioning of the system by the user.
The Manufacture is unable to monitor compliance with these instructions or device installation, operation and use, and
maintenance conditions and methods.
Inappropriate execution of the installation may lead to material damage and consequently to personal injury. Therefore,
no liability is assumed for loss, damage or cost arising out of or in any way connected with improper installation.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
ARC WELDING AND CUTTING CAN BE HARMFUL TO YOURSELF AND OTHERS. The user must therefore be
instructed to avoid the following typical welding hazards. For more detailed information, order manual code 3300758.
NOISE
The noise level produced by this device does not exceed 80dB (A) (ref. 1 pW). The plasma welding/cutting process
could produce noise levels above this limit together with environmental service conditions that cannot be determined
in advance. Therefore, the user must use the appropriate hearing protection required by local standards and regulations.
ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS
These can be harmful. An electric current flowing through any conductor produces electromagnetic fields (EMF). A
welding or cutting current generates electromagnetic fields around the welding cables and power source.
Using the device poses a fatal risk to pacemaker wearers.
Wearers of vital electronic devices such as pacemakers should consult their physician before approaching areas where
arc or resistance welding, cutting or gouging operations are in progress.
Exposure to electromagnetic fields caused by welding or cutting could have unknown effects on health. Every operator
must observe the following procedures to reduce risks arising out of exposure to electromagnetic fields:
- Arrange the welding cables as close together as possible. If possible, make a cable bundle by strapping the cables
together with adhesive tape. This arrangement is permitted if the high-frequency power-on mode is not in use when
working.
- During power-on with a high-frequency strike device, keep the cable and torch cable at least 30 cm apart to prevent
sparking between them.
- In applications with multiple welding sources, make sure that the cable bundles of each source are spaced at least 30
cm apart.
- The cable bundle must not exceed a total length of 30m.
- Do not wrap the welding cables around your body, do not carry the welding cables on your shoulders
- The welding cables must be kept as far away as possible from the welder's torso and head.
- Never stand between the welding cables. Connect the cable to the workpiece that is as close as possible to the welding
or cutting area.
- In applications with multiple sources, each power source must have its own connection to the welding workpiece.
Never use a shared earth for multiple generators.
- Do not work close to the power source.
- Arrange excess cables in a zigzag pattern to prevent coiling.
ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY
This machine is manufactured in compliance with instructions set out in standard IEC 60974-10 (Cl. A), and must be
used solely for professional purposes in an industrial environment. Difficulties may arise when ensuring electromagnetic
compatibility in non-industrial environments.
The use of welding equipment can interfere with radio navigation, safety and security devices for things and people
