the hole in the metal connector plate
The tool is leaking air

For failure other than above situations, please stop using the tool and contact your local dealer for service.

• Fastener slid into the wrong magazine groove
· Choose correct groove (40, 50 or 60 mm)
• Loose nose screws
· Tighten screws and recheck
• Loose cap screws
· Tighten screws and recheck
• Damaged seal, gasket or O-rings
· Replace seal, gasket or O-rings
• Dirt in nose (A)
· Clean nose
• Dirty/empty magazine (E)
· Clean magazine
• Air restriction/inadequate air flow
· Check hose and compressor
• Lack of lubrication
· Use TJEP lubricator
• Fasteners too short or wrong size for the tool
· Use recommended TJEP fasteners only
• Bent fasteners
· Do not use
• Low air pressure
· Check hose and compressor
• Lack of lubrication (D)
· Use TJEP lubricator
• Pusher (C) has been released too roughly and thereby damaged the
fastener collation material.
· Always release the pusher gently
• Fastener slid into the wrong magazine groove
· Choose correct groove (40, 50 or 60 mm)
• Bent fasteners
· Do not use
• Loose magazine, nose screws
· Tighten all screws and recheck
• Fastener hit metal connector plate
· Make sure to place the point of fastener into the hole of the metal
connector plate.
