Mounting and replacing of the saw blade (II)
You should check whether the blade is not damaged, cracked, whether the cutting teeth are not broken, etc. In the case of dam-
age, replace the saw blade for a new one.
Saw blades diff er depending on their assignation. Saw blades for wood and wood-based materials have widely spaced teeth and
saw blades for metal and plastic have fi ner teeth. You should select a saw blade suitable for the planned work. You can mount the
saw blade with their teeth directed to the lower or upper part of the housing.
Attention! Mounting the saw blade should be carried out in the protective gloves. This will reduce the risk of injury.
Rotate the spindle and insert the blade holder in the spindle gap. Rotate the clamp to the opposite side and make sure that the
blade has been properly fi xed: when the clamp is in its original position, the saw blade can not be removed from the spindle.
Setting the height and angle of the foot (III)
By setting the foot height you can adjust the cutting height. To do this, you must rotate clockwise the lever located on the front
panel, set foot on the desired height, and turn the lever counterclockwise, until its location is locked in the position by a latch. Make
sure, that the foot will change its height during operation. Adjusting the foot is possible in a gradual way.
The foot allows smooth for adjustment of skid angle, to do this, you must lean it against the foot guide. This will allow you to change
the cutting angle without taking the foot from the surface of the cut material.
OPERATING OF THE TOOL
Before every operation, you should ensure that the blade is not damaged and that it is mounted correctly. Wear eye protection,
hearing protectors and working gloves. Mount the workpiece to the workstation, for example by using carpentry clamps, vice, etc.
Never hold the cut material only by hands or other parts of the body. In the case of cutting you must support the material at its ends
and near the cut line. Supports must be placed on both sides of the cut line so during cutting, the blade would not jammed in the
cut kerf. During cutting the foot must be supported by its whole surface of the base of the cut material.
