• III. INTENDED USE
The protector must be used only as shown in the icons located
on the product label (mountain biking, road cycling, skiing, snow-
boarding). The protector must not be used for other sports. In
particular, it must not be used for motor sports.
• IV. USE RESTRICTIONS

APPLICATION AREA

The SCOTT Trail Protect FR' has been developed in particular
for mountain biking, road cycling, skiing, snowboarding. These
sports entail a certain level of risk of accidents. The SCOTT Trail
Protect FR' with its integrated back protector has been special-
ly designed to minimize the risk of injury when practising these
sports. The protectors provide protection purely from impact
and do not protect from injuries resulting from compression,
twisting or extreme movements. The protectors provide the lim-
ited protection mentioned above only in the area protected by
the board. SCOTT Sports SA assumes no liability if the backpack
is used without the protector.

IMPROPER USE

Bending or twisting of the protector is regarded as improper use;
this could result in protectors losing their protective effect and/
or being permanently damaged. During use, the temperature of
protectors must not fall below -20° C. We recommend that you
do not store protectors outside or in exposed locations prior to
use. Modifications to the products may lead to a reduction in the
protective function; this is therefore regarded as improper use.
SCOTT Sports SA will not accept any complaints or exchange
any protectors that have been handled improperly.
WARNING
No protective device can protect you from all kinds of accident
and injury. No protector is able to completely exclude the possi-
bility of spinal injuries. Any contamination or modifications to the
protector or misuse may significantly reduce its protective effect,
including the attachment of skis, snowboards, ski poles or other
equipment to the backpack.
• V. INFORMATION ON PRODUCT
The product does not contain any harmful substances. The
shape, function and design of protectors are not measurably
impaired by contact with perspiration or substances contained
