Placing on the market of plastic materials and articles
Plastic materials and articles may be placed on the market only if they
(a) in compliance with the relevant requirements set out in Article 3 of Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 under the intended
and foreseeable conditions of use;
(b) comply with the labelling requirements laid down in Article 15 of Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004;
(c) comply with the traceability requirements laid down in Article 17 of Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004;
(d) manufactured in accordance with good manufacturing practice as defined in Commission Regulation (EC) No
2023/2006; and
(e) comply with the declaration and composition requirements set out in Chapters II, III and IV of this Regulation.
The materials constituting the printer and the cartridges intended to come into contact with edible products have been
tested for overall migration and found to comply with the limits set out in Article 12 paragraph 1 of Regulation (EU) No
10/2011.

Overall migration limit
1. Plastic materials and articles shall not release their constituents to food simulants in quantities exceeding 10 mg of
total constituents released per dm2 of food contact surface (mg/dm2).
