6.7 - Motor shaft turns in the opposite direction of that indicated on the
HMI (sensorless PM)
1 - Check that the identification of the motor cables matches the power terminals U/T1, V/T2 and W/T3 of the inverter.
Otherwise, make the connections again.
6.8 - Motor actual speed (P0002) is limited below the maximum speed
(P0134)
Parameter P0134 is limited automatically by: P0134 = (Udmax) x (636/P0435.)
P0296

7 - Solution of faults (VVW PM)
The frequency inverter has current limitation function and heavy starts can lead to power limitation and frequently
activation of overload functions.
The maximum frequency inverter current, and correspondently maximum motor torque, is limited by the value adjusted in
the parameter P0135 for the VVW PM control mode.
The recommendation when using VVW PM is to set the value of P135 to 150% of P0401 (Nominal Current).
7.1 - Recommendations to optimal setting
First follow the Oriented Start-Up procedure according to the programming manual.
Check current limitation P0135 and set this parameter to 150% of Nominal Current
Check the voltage boost at lower frequencies. The VVW PM control mode is sensitive to this value and it is necessary an
initial boost for motor running. If the Boost is not properly adjusted can lead to starting difficulties.
1. Too low Boost: leads to motor vibration or even loss of synchronization.
--> select V/f adjustable (P0202=2) and increase gradually P0144.
2. Too high Boost: the motor may not accelerate (ramp holding – current limitation achieved) and the frequency inverter
may trip by overcurrent (F071 or F70);
--> select V/f adjustable (P0202=2) and decrease gradually P0144;
-->check the motor ramp time. The ramp time may be too short for the system.
Increase P0100/P0102 if necessary.
Another condition to be considered is the inertia of the system and or torque oscillations at the start. If it is not possible
to reduce further the ramp due to high load inertia, do the following:
a) Set parameter MTPA Integral Gain to P0447=0.001.
b) Set parameter Initial Speed VVW PM to P0451=10.0%.
c) Use a 2° ramp selected by a Digital input (See programming manual).
Configure the first ramp with a time of 10.0s during the 0-10% speed range of synchronous speed. And a second ramp
for the P0100 value (longer ramp) during 10% of synchronous speed up to P0134.
7.2 - Motor Actual Speed (P0002) is limited below the maximum
speed (P0134)
Parameter P0134 is limited automatically by: P0134=(Udmax)x(636/P0444).
P0296
Udmax
7.3 - Oscillation of parameters P0002, P0003
Decrease the value of the current stabilizer adjustment (P0448) in steps of 100 up to a minimum of 200.
