Caution
When removing or replacing the SHW for maintenance purposes,
care must be taken not to use excessive force when loosening or
tightening the bolt holding it in position. Due to the angle at
which the ring spanner (10 mm) is used, it may catch and damage
part of the SHW.
Using a 10 mm ring spanner, unfasten the spacer nut 1 holding the SHW in

position. Lift away the SHW.

Brush away dust or dirt in the SHW.

Brush away dust or dirt from each of the cells.
8.
Re-position the SHW ensuring orientation screw comes through the hole in the
back of the wheel. Using the 10 mm ring spanner fasten the spacer nut firmly,
ensuring it is not over tightened.
9.
Gently rotate the SHW and replace the four cells into their correct positions.
10. Replace the cover plate and fasten the thumb screw until it is "finger tight".
Check that the SHW can rotate freely.
11. Close the instrument hood and re-insert the drawer into its position.
