5. Using cotton gloves, remove the lamp gently from its socket.
6. Unpack a new lamp and fit it into its socket. Use FOSS lamps only (Lamp Kit
part no. 6002 6252). Use of non-genuine lamps will compromise instrument
performance and void all warranties. If the O-ring is damaged, replace it.
