Operation sequence of the burner

6.4.1
Burner start-up
Starting phases with progressive time intervals shown in sec-
onds:
Control remote control TL closes
After about 3s:
0 s:
electrical control box programme starts
2s
fan motor starts.
3s
ignition transformer engagement
The pump draws the fuel from the tank through the pip-
ing and the filter and pumps it under pressure. The pis-
ton rises and the fuel returns to the tank through the
piping.
The screw closes the by-pass towards the suction line
and the de-energised solenoids close the way to the
nozzle.
Pre-purging with maximum air delivery.
22 s: the VS solenoid valve opens and the fuel passes into
the pipe and crosses the filter, and is then sprayed out
through the nozzle, igniting when it comes into contact
with the spark. It is the ignition flame.
29 s: the ignition transformer switches off.
36 s: the solenoid valve VH/L opens, the fuel passes through
the pipe and the filter and is sprayed out by the nozzle.
It is the operating flame.
The starting cycle comes to an end.
6.4.2

Ignition failure

If the burner does not fire, it goes into lockout within 5 s. after the
gas valve opens and about 30 seconds after the control device
TL closes.
6.4.3

Burner flame goes out during operation

If the flame should accidentally go out during operation, the burner
will lock out within 1s.
