2. Safety instructions

2.1 General

■ Read the instructions carefully before
(or using the Kiruna.
■ Examine the Kiruna frequently for
signs of wear or damage. If there are
such signs or if the appliance has
been misused, return it to the
supplier prior to any further use.
■ The Kiruna should be assembled by
an Auping specialist only.
■ Do not use the bed as a trampoline
or stepladder.
■ Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the
Kiruna.
■ Do not smoke in bed, and keep
burning objects away from the bed.

2.2 Adjustable Kiruna

■ The Kiruna control system and
motors are operated on safe low
voltage current.
■ Only place the bed in a dry room.
Because of the electrical components
it is not permitted to place the bed in
a damp room.
■ Check if the input voltage indicated
on the transformer is the same as
the main voltage in the house.
