Playing Sources Automatically
(auto play)
The AUTO PLAY function lets you set the receiver to
start playing the program sources immediately after
they are selected from the FUNCTION SELECT menu.
The receiver comes with AUTO PLAY set to ON.

Click FUNCTION in the main menu.
The FUNCTION SELECT menu appears.

Click SET UP.

Click AUTO PLAY ON or OFF to select auto play
on or off.

Click EXIT.
To go to the previous menu
Click RETURN.
Notes
• If you select another component during playback, the
current component stops and the newly selected
component starts playing.
• The AUTO PLAY function does not work when you
operate the receiver using the controls on the front panel.
• The AUTO PLAY function may not work for components
with poor remote control response. If you experience this,
reposition the IR repeater closer to that component to
facilitate reception of the IR command codes.

Starting a Source
Automatically at Power On
(auto start)
The AUTO START function lets you set the receiver to
start playing a specific program source immediately
whenever you turn on the receiver.

Click FUNCTION in the main menu.
The FUNCTION SELECT menu appears.

Click AUTO.
The AUTO START SETTING screen appears.

Click the component you want to start playing
automatically when the receiver is turned on.
Only one program source can be selected.
To automatically start the component played last the
next time you turn on the receiver
Click LAST.
To execute a macro automatically when you turn on
the receiver
Click MACRO 1 or MACRO 2 when the AUTO PLAY
function is ON and the program source is specified in
the MACRO PLAY setting (see page 39).
When LAST is specified, the program source last played
will turn on automatically the next time you turn on the
receiver.
To cancel the AUTO START function
Click NO SET in step 3.
AUTO START will not operate when you turn on the
receiver.
To return to the main menu
Click EXIT.
To go to the previous menu
Click RETURN.
Note
Macros containing the ALL OFF command (see page 39)
cannot be selected for use with the AUTO START function.
