IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Please ensure that component parts shall be replaced with like components and that servicing shall be done
by factory authorized service personnel, so as to minimize the risk of possible ignition due to incorrect parts or
improper service.
ELECTRICAL
REQUIREMENTS
This appliance is equipped with a cord featuring a
grounding wire that has a grounding plug. The plug must
be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and
grounded.
IMPORTANT WARNING
An empty refrigerator can pose a threat to chil-
dren. To render the unit harmless we strongly
recommend removing the door prior to disposal.
WARNING
Improper use of the grounding plug can result in a
risk of electric shock. Consult a qualifi ed electri-
cian or serviceman if the grounding instructions
are not completely understood, or if doubt exists
as to whether the appliance is properly grounded.
• This refrigerator should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this refrigerator is equipped with a three-
prong plug which mates with standard three prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
• Do not, under any circumstances cut or remove the third ground prong from the power cord supplied.
• This refrigerator requires a standard 115/120 volt A.C, 60Hz electrical outlet with three-prong ground.
• This refrigerator is not designed to be used with an inverter or adapter.
• The cord should be secured behind the refrigerator and not left exposed or dangling to prevent accidental injury.
• Never unplug the refrigerator by pulling the power cord. Always grip the plug fi rmly and pull straight out from the
outlet.
• Do not use an extension cord with this appliance. If the power cord is too short, have a qualifi ed electrician or service
technician install an outlet near the appliance. Use of an extension cord can negatively affect the performance
of the unit.
