Installation of this child seat in the vehicle is
only suitable if the vehicle is equipped with
3-point seat belts with retractor, approved to
UN/ECE Regulation No.16 or other equiva-
lent standards.
•

The stability of the car seat can be affected
by the position of the vehicle seatbelt buc-
kle; if it happens to be positioned as in Pic.
10, this child seat is not suitable for use with
your belt or your vehicle.
1.
Rotate the support leg, so that it is in an
upright position (Pic.11-A).
2.
Hold the seat and pull out the force leg to
retract the two connectors in the child seat
base (Pic.11-B).
3.
Place the child seat on the appropriate ve-
hicle seat, facing forward (Pic. 12).
4.
Grip the reclining lever (Pic. 13) and pull
the seat forward until it's totally reclined, to
operate more easily.
5.
Pull to open the locking lever of the red belt
clamp on the opposite side of the vehicle
seat buckle (Pic.14).
6.
Pull out the car safety seat belt and place
it between the backrest and the seat frame
(Pic.15).
7.
Slot the buckle tongue in the car seat buc-
kle (Pic. 16) until it clicks in.
8.
Pass the lap section (Pic.17) in the lower
red belt guides on both sides of the seat
frame.
9.
Insert the diagonal seat belt section throu-
gh the red belt clamp (Pic. 18). Warning:
Ensure that the belt has not been
twisted (Pic. 19);
10.
Press the child seat firmly against the ve-
hicle seat and back of the vehicle seat and
at the same time, pull tightly upwards the
diagonal section of the seat belt through
the belt clamp (Pic. 20) until there is no
slack; then close the belt clamp (Pic. 21).
Caution! The diagonal seat belt
section (14-B) may be clamped
using only the belt clamp on the
opposite side of the vehicle seat
buckle;

Adjust the height of the support leg by
pressing the pushbutton located at its back
(Pic. 22) and slide down the lower section
until it reaches the floor of the vehicle.
12.
Release the button and check that the
support leg is locked in position and its bot-
tom well in contact with the vehicle's floor.
Important: when adjusting the
support leg, make sure that the
base of the seat always remains
in contact with the seat (Pic. 23)
and not elevated.
13.
You may now use the child seat at your
chosen position, by using the reclining le-
ver (Pig. 24).
Removing the child seat from the
vehicle
1.
Grip the reclining lever (Pic. 13) and pull the
seat forward to the reclined position.
2.
Open the clamp in which the seat belt is
engaged.
3.
Release the vehicle seat belt from its buc-
kle.
4.
Take the lap seat belt section off the red belt
guides and withdraw the vehicle seat belt to
remove the child seat from your vehicle.
III. Securing the child in the
seat
1.
Press the red button on the buckle to un-
lock it (Pic. 25).
2.
Loosen the shoulders' straps by pulling
both simultaneously, while holding the har-
ness release button down (Pic.26).
3.
Place your child in the child seat and fit
the left and right tongues together (Pic.27),
then push them into the buckle until they
'click' into place, indicating that the buckle
is correctly locked (Pic. 28);
4.
Following Pic.29, position the straps over
the shoulders (A) and across the lap (B)
and the buckle (C) between the child's
legs;
5.
Pull the harness adjustment strap (Pic. 32),
at the front of the car seat, until the har-
ness is a comfortable, snug fit on the child's
body. The harness should be tightened until
it gives a firm, snug fit, but does not cause
your child any discomfort; Warning: The
crotch buckle has a fixed length
and cannot be adjusted. Do not
pull on the chest pads.
6.
To unlock the safety harness, press the red
button on the buckle (Pic.25).
