children grow at different rates, the weights
given are the main safety issue.
Warning
The Axo Ifix Brevi seat can be fitted on the
vehicles included in the Lists A and B, which
are periodically updated with new vehicles
introduced in the market. Axo Ifix can also be
fitted onto seats of vehicles not listed as com-
patible vehicles.
Warning:
Only use the car seat in the forward
facing position.
Use this child seat ONLY for secu-
ring your child in your vehicle.
This seat CANNOT be used against
the direction of travel.
The use against the direction of
travel is NOT permitted could be
extremely dangerous, in the event
of an accident.
Please always observe your count-
ry regulations;
Should your vehicle be equipped
with front airbag, please observe
any instructions in the vehicle ow-
ner's manual.
II. Fitting Instructions
Axo Ifix has been classified in the SEMI-UNI-
VERSAL category and can be installed in two
different methods:
Method A: For vehicles equipped with Isofix
anchor points (cf. list "A" compatible vehicles).
Method B: For vehicles equipped with
three-point safety belt (cf. list "B" compatible
vehicles).
Method A: Installing the car seat
using the Iso-fix connectors
1.
Rotate the support leg so that it is in an
upright position (Pic. 2).
2.
Place the child seat on the appropriate ve-
hicle seat, facing forward (Pic.37).
3.
Ensure the vehicle seat is locked in the
most upright and adjusted to the rearward
position.
4.
To prepare the child seat installation, press
simultaneously the two levers, on either
side of the child seat base (Pic.3 - A) and

push completely the support leg release
unit (Fig. 3 - B), to extract the connectors
(Fig. 3 - C).
5.
Axo Isofix comes with two plastic guides
(Pic.1-U) you can use them, if your vehicle
has none, to guide the Isofix connectors in
their proper position in correspondence of
the seat anchor points of your car.
6.
Line up the two plasic guides with the Isofix
connecting points (Pic. 4).
7.
Make sure that the connection indicators
are red (Pic. 5-A): suggesting that the con-
nectors are ready for engagement. If one or
both indicators are green, press the button
(Pic. 5-R).
8.
Insert simultaneously the two Isofix con-
nectors through the child seat guides, pu-
shing the support leg articulation (Pic. 5 -B)
to lock them in. Important: You must
clearly hear two distinct "clicks"
and both indicators should be
green (Pic.5-C ). Only in this case
the connectors are properly atta-
ched to the anchor points of the
seat.
9.
Adjust the height of the force leg by pres-
sing the pushbutton located at its the back
(Pic. 6) and slide the lower section until it
reaches the floor of the vehicle.
10.
Release the button and check that the sup-
port leg is locked in position and its bottom
well in contact with the vehicle's floor.
11.
The force leg is designed to provide stabi-
lity to the seat, preventing it from sinking,
in the event of an accident. Firmly push
the child seat to make it adhere to the seat
back of the vehicle (Pic. 7). Important:
When adjusting the force leg,
make sure that the base of the
seat (Pic.8) always remains in
contact with the seat
To release the Isofix connectors
1.
Slide upwards the force leg pressing the
adjustment push button (Pic. 9-A ).
2.
Move the seat forward by pressing the side
levers and pulling it forward (Pic.9-B).
3.
Press the pushbutton on the articulation of
the force leg as shown (Pic.9-C), to rele-
ase the Isofix connectors. WARNING:
Only if both indicators are red it
is possible to remove the chaild
seat from the vehicle.
Method B: Installation of the child
seat using the safety seat belt and
the force leg
