SAFETY INFORMATION

• Do not connect the test probe extender to voltage unless
it is connected to an appropriate 2-pole voltage tester.
• Ensure the test probe extender is securely attached
before usage.
• Do not touch the test probes at any time before and
during test when the product is connected to voltage.
 Warnings: Read Before Using
To avoid the possibility of electric shock or personal injury:
• Use the test probe extenders only as specified in this
manual or the protection provided by the probes may be
compromised.
• Do not use the test probe extenders around explosive gas,
vapor, or in damp or environment exceeding IP40.
• Inspect the test probe extenders before use and do not
use if they appear damaged. Check for cracks or missing
plastic. Pay particular attention to the insulation around
the connectors.
• Check the test probe extenders for continuity. Replace
damaged probes before using with the voltage tester.
• Ensure the test probe extenders are securely screwed
onto the voltage tester's test probes before and during
making measurements.
• Use extreme caution when working around bare
conductors or bus bars. Contact with the conductor could
result in electric shock.
• Do not apply more than the rated voltage and CAT
rating, as marked on the voltage tester and/or the probe
accessory, between the terminals or between any terminal
and earth ground.
• Do not exceed the Measurement Category (CAT) rating of
the lowest rated individual component of a voltage tester
and/or the accessory.
• Do not attempt to connect to any circuit carrying voltage
that may exceed the maximum range of the voltage tester
and/or the accessory.
• When using probes, keep fingers behind the finger guards
and follow the safety information of the voltage tester and
the accessory.
• Only use the test probe extenders with the compatible
voltage testers (see Specifications).
