To care for the bottom cover:
1. Apply the brakes on the P P r r o o C C u u i i t t y y bed frame.
2. Unplug the support surface power/data cable from the bed.
3. Remove the power/data cable from the strain relief bracket.
4. Pull one of the CPR straps to deflate the support surface.
5. Lower the siderails on the bed.
6. Extend the P P r r o o C C u u i i t t y y bed extender (Figure 14).

7. Remove the headboard and footboard from the bed and set aside.
8. Raise the head of bed angle.
9. Place the bed in reverse Trendelenburg (Figure 15).

10. Remove the retaining straps from the bed.
11. With a helper, use the handles on the support surface to help fold the support surface to the foot end of the litter.
12. Care for the underside of the support surface and litter deck (Figure 16).
