What to do in case of problems?
Unqualified interventions in and repairs on the unit are
dangerous because there is a risk of electric shock or
short circuit. They must be refrained from for avoiding
physical injuries and damage to the unit. Therefore,
such work must be performed only by an authorised
electrician, e.g. a technical customer service.
Please note
If there are any faults in the unit, please use this
instruction manual to check whether you can rectify
these faults yourself.
Tips for rectifying faults are given below.
Do the fuses trip several times?

Call the technical customer service or an
electrician.
The hob extractor cannot be switched on.

Has the fuse of the domestic electrical
installation (fuse box) tripped?

Is the mains connection cable or network
cable connected?

Are the sensor buttons partially covered by
a damp cloth, fluid or another object?
Does the glass panel of the touch-control have
cracks or breakages?

Switch off the unit immediately. Switch off the
household security system immediately and
call the customer service.
Has the extractor power of the hob extractor
deteriorated?

Have you adhered to the cleaning intervals
of the stainless steel grease filter?

Check whether an object (e.g. cleaning rag)
has been sucked in and is in the channel
system.

Check whether a channel connection has
come off.
Is the hob extractor exceptionally loud?

Check whether the fan propeller of the fan
rubs against the casing.
