Mounting instructions
Important:
Only use the sealing tape enclosed with the built-
in units! When using other sealing tapes there is
no guarantee that the built-in units will not sag
further after the installation.
Clean the edges with an adhesive
o
cleaner before placing the built-in
units. Let these ventilate for at least
30 minutes subsequently.
Place the cover frame of the hob
o
extractor and the corresponding
mounting bars
in the counter section. Now place
the hobs to the left and right of the
extractor.
You can establish an accurate height
o
adjustment by placing the packing
plates.
Now align the built-in units such that
o
a uniform joint pattern is developed
circumferentially and between the
units.
Attach the built-in units by tightening
o
the mounting straps. These straps
may only be manually tightened using
a suitable tool. Using a cordless
screwdriver or something similar is
prohibited. Ensure that the built-in
units remain in position when
attaching.
Finally, grout the gap between the
o
built-in units and the built-in units and
the counter with silicone adhesive.
Ensure that silicone adhesive is not
pressed under the contact face
otherwise it will no longer be possible
to remove the built-in units later on.
The warranty is not applicable in case
of non-observance.
Now level the joint with a trowel and
o
low surface tension water.
After levelling, put up the red warning
o
sign "CAUTION: hob is freshly
levelled" enclosed with the hobs.
