User instructions
The CPV valve terminal with DeviceNet direct connection is ex-
clusively for use as a slave in the DeviceNet. The limit values
given in the technical data must be complied with.
Detailed information can be found in the manual "CPV valve
terminal with direct connection type CPV..-GE-DN-8".
WARNING:
• Switch off the power before inserting or removing the plug
(functional damage).
• Only use power units that provide secure electrical insula-
tion of the operating voltage as per IEC 742/EN 60742/
VDE 0551, with at least 4 kV insulation resistance
(Protected Extra-Low Voltage, PELV, see icon at side).
Switched mode power supply components are allowed, if
they provide secure insulation as per EN 60950/VDE 0805 .
• Connect the earth connection of the left end plate
with a low impedance (short cable, large cross-section)
to the earth potential.
NOTE:
Only operate a fully fitted and wired CPV valve terminal.
