Converting an existing chimney
pipe
If the home already has a chimney, you can lead the
concentric duct system through the existing chimney
pipe. You can also convert the existing pipe into a con-
centric pipe using a single-wall flexible hose and the
right pipe reducers. There is a conversion kit for this.
See the chapter "Installation requirements" for the con-
ditions under which this conversion is permitted.
The following parts are required to convert an existing
flue into a closed system; see next figure.
1
The hearth or stove to be connected
2
Concentric duct, 100/150 mm, modular
3
Installation plate inside, square 300 mm
4
Single-wall slide, round diameter 97 mm
5
Parker screws (4 pc)
Subject to change because of technical improvements

11 Roof sleeve
The conversion set consists of parts 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9.
Follow the instructions below for assembly and see
the figure above.
1. Lead the flexible hose (6) through the existing pipe
(8).
2. Attach the slide (4) to the lower end of the flexible
hose and secure it with two Parker screws (5).
3. Keep the bottom of the slide even with the bottom
of the pipe or the ceiling. Cut the flexible hose at
approximately 100 mm above the chimney cap.
4. Attach the installation plate-outside (9) to the flex-
ible hose, clamp it with a hose clamp (7) and
secure it all with a Parker screw (5).
5. Attach the installation plate-outside (9) watertight
to the chimney cap with silicon sealant and stain-
less steel screws.
6. Install the roof sleeve (11) and secure it with the
clamping strap included in the delivery (10).
7. Attach the installation plate-inside (3) gastight on
the bottom of the flue or on the bottom of the ceil-
ing with silicon sealant and stainless steel
screws.
8. Place the stove (1) as indicated in the chapter
09-20021-363
"Installation requirements".
9. Connect the stove with the lower end of the flue
using concentric components (2). All components
must overlap at least 30 mm and be secured with
clamping straps or stainless steel Parker screws
to prevent them from coming apart. Extend the
concentric pipe at least 100 mm into the existing
flue.
Flexible stainless steel 316L hose, single-
wall round diameter 100/107 mm (heat res-
istance 600°C)
Stainless steel hose clamp reach diameter
90 to 165 mm
Existing chimney or flue pipe
Installation plate outside, square 300 mm
Clamping strap (included in delivery of part
11)
After the roof sleeve is installed, the slide (4)
should extend about 100 mm under the pipe or
ceiling.
