• To prevent accidents, this product should not be used by children, unsupervised
persons with disabilities, or persons not familiar with the use instructions.
Cleaning and maintenance of the product should not be done by children.
• This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or persons with no experience or
knowledge of the product, unless supervised or instructed on the product's
use by a person responsible for their safety.
• Always supervise children to ensure they do not play with the product.
• Do not use the pressure cooker in any type of oven.
• Be careful when handling the cooker while pressurized.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle. If necessary, use protection
(oven mitts, dish towels, etc.).
• This cooker works with pressure. Incorrect use of this pressure cooker may
be dangerous. Before cooking, make sure the safety systems are in perfect
working condition and the pressure cooker is correctly closed.
• Do not use force to open the pressure cooker. Do not open the pressure
cooker unless you are certain that the internal pressure has been reduced.
• When depressurizing the pressure cooker, keep hands, face and body away
from the steam being released.
• Never use the pressure cooker without liquids, which can cause serious
damage.
• Do not fill the pressure cooker to more than 2/3 of its capacity.
• When cooking items that expand in volume (such as rice, dehydrated
vegetables, etc.), do not fill the pressure cooker to more than half its capacity.
• When cooking starchy foods, give the pressure cooker a light shake before
opening it so the food does not spill out.
• Before each use, make sure the pressure regulator valve and safety valve
are not blocked or obstructed.
• Never use the pressure cooker for frying or roasting under pressure.
• Never place heavy objects on the working valve.
• Never tamper with any safety system not mentioned in the instructions.
• Use only original manufacturer parts for the corresponding compatible model.
• The gasket of your Tramontina pressure cooker is made of silicone, specially
for this model. Never replace it with a similar product and never use common
rubber gaskets, as this may compromise the performance of the pressure
cooker. Replacement gaskets for this pressure cooker are available from
Tramontina's Technical Service.
• Clean the silicone gasket regularly. To extend the working life of the gasket,
grease it regularly with cooking oil.
• If any component or part of the product is damaged, it must be assessed
by the manufacturer. Please get in touch with our Customer Service or
Tramontina's authorized technical service network for more information. Do
not alter the product and use only original replacement parts. Improper use
may damage the product.
