a) The installation is on behalf of
purchaser .
The manufacturer will not accept
any responsibility for damages
caused by faulty installation or by
improper earthing of the machine
that should always be earthed ac-
cording with the instructions in this
user's book. Before starting the
machine personally check that the
instructions concerning the instal-
lation have been carried out.
b) It is recommended that any
tears in garments should be
mended before washing loose but-
tons secured zip fasteners closed
not to wash unhemmed garments
to empty and turn out pockets to
button garments or article. In any
case avoid the solvents (pillow-
slips) to arrange large articles
(sheets tablecloths etc.) unfolded
and loose and to turn shirts inside
out.
c) To obtain the best results use
only non lathering detergents spe-
cially made for washing machines.
For wool use the special neutral
detergents for synthetic materials
it is as well to use the special de-
tergents for whitening it is inadvis-
able to use pure lye but rather one
of the specially prepared bleaches
on the market. In any case avoid
the solvents used in dry cleaning
(trichlorethylene) .
d) If the water used for the wash is
very hard it is advisable to use in
addition to the detergent one of the
products available which avoid
deposits forming on the washing
and in the machine while also fa-
cilitating the action of the deter-
gent.

e) if the washing machine has to
be left inactive for a long time it is
advisable to disconnect both the
water and electricity and leave the
door partly open to avoid unpleas-
ant smells.
This last point is valid even during
periods of normal use.
f) Should the machine not function
or appear defective, before calling
the Maintenance Service check
that: 1 ) the current is not cut off,
2) there is water and the tap is fully
open; 3) the inlet and outlet tubes
are not bent and that the latter is
placed at the corrects height; 4) the
door is properly closed; 5) the fil-
ter is clean; 6) the machine is per-
fectly levelled.

g) The soap dispenser should be
kept free of incrustantions. Wash
it with running water.
h) To clean the outside of the wash-
ing machine and the rubber parts
use a damp cloth with a little soap
do not use petrol or other solvents.
