Von 1938 bis 1944 wurden rund 250 dreiachsige diesel-hy-
draulische Lokomotiven als WR 360 C 14 gebaut. Sie wurden
im Verschiebedienst eingesetzt.
Die Deusche Bundesbahn hat – ebenso wie viele andere
europäische Privat- und Staatsbahnverwaltungen – nach
1945 zahlreiche Lokomotiven als Baureihe (BR) V 36
übernommen. Sie wurden im Personennahverkehr großer
Städte, beim Verschiebedienst auf Güterbahnhöfen und für
das Bereitstellen von Reisezug-Garnituren eingesetzt.
Ab 1968 wurden die Lokomotiven als BR 236 bezeichnet. Sie
sind inzwischen ausgemustert worden.

Information about the Prototype:

Approximately 250 three-axle, diesel-hydraulic locomotives
were built from 1938 to 1944 as the WR 360 C 14.
They were used in switching service. Like so many other
European private and state railroads, the German Federal
Railroad acquired a large number of these locomotives after
1945 and classified them as the V 36. They were used for
passenger traffic in and around large cities, for switching in
freight yards, and to make up passenger trains.
In 1968 these locomotives were designated the class 236. In
the years since then they have been taken out of service.

Informations concernant la locomotive réelle :
Environ 250 locomoteurs Diesel-hydrauliques à 3 essieux
furent contruits entre 1938 et 1944 sous le numéro de
construction WR 360 C 14. Ils ont assuré des services variés.
La Deutsche Bundesbahn ainsi que d'autres compagnies,
privées ou publiques, ont acquis, après 1945 de nombreuses
machines de ce type. Elles ont été immatriculées par la DB
(BR) V 36. Elles ont assuré des services voyageurs de banli-
eue dans les grandes villes ainsi que des services de triage.
Elles assuraient également la mise à quai des trains.
A partir de 1968, ces locomoteurs ont été renumérotés
BR 236. Entretemps, toutes ces machines sont rayées des
inventaires.

De Deutsche Bundesbahn heeft net als veel andere
Europese particuliere en staatsspoorwegen na 1945 talrijke
locomotieven als bouwserie (BR) V 36 overgenomen. Ze
deden dienst voor stoptreinen in en rond grote steden, bij
rangeerdiensten op goederenstations en werden voor de
samenstelling van reizigerstreinen ingezet.
Vanaf 1968 werden de locomotieven als BR 236 aan-
geduid. Ze zijn inmiddels uit de dienst genomen.
