SETUP MENU
In the setup menu you can adapt several parameters of the
MSD900 to your personal taste. To access the setup menu,
just press the SEARCH button (3) for about 1.5sec: he
display shows "SETUP MENU" while the red SEARCH button
(serves as NO-button) and green BPM/CUE button (serves
as YES-button) are both lit. You can browse the setup menu
with the JOG wheel (4). Use the YES button to select
submenus and options, use the NO button to return to the
main menu. To leave the setup menu, press the SEARCH
button (3) again for about 1.5seconds. Below please find the
explanation of the different sub menus and options:
PITCH BEND:
The pitch bend parameter determines the impact of the jog
wheel on the pitch bend function. The CD-player comes with
the pitch bend parameter set to 50. You can adjust the
parameter between 001 (very little impact) to 100 (extreme
impact) to adapt the pitch bend function perfectly to your
personal taste! You can select different values for the left and
right players.
TIME MODE:
Used to select if you want to see the remaining or elapsed
time of the selected track on the display. You can select a
different time display for the left and right players.
PLAY MODE:
For each deck you can choose a different play mode:
Continuous play: all tracks on the memory device will be
played without interruption. (mostly used in pubs)
Single + autocue: player stops at the end of each track
and waits at the first music note of the next track. (mostly
used by deejays) This means that badly indexed CDs will
not interfere with the instant start capabilities of the player.
This is a very useful feature for deejays!
Single no autocue: player stops at the end of each track
and waits at the beginning of the next track, not at the first
music note!
