Installation of the Socket and the Wire Lane
1. Remove the coverings at the rear of the vehicle and at the rear lights as far as required.
2. Drill a hole (Ø 40 mm) at a suitable position on the rear of the vehicle for the wire lane to the
socket.
Smooth off the edges of the hole and apply antifreeze.
3. Then lead the wire lane at the socket end through the hole from the inside to the outside and
seal the hole with the rubber bushing. Ensure that everything is sitting properly.
4. Press the contact holder into the socket housing, position the surface seal and attach the
socket with the supplied screws to the socket retaining plate.
5. The socket is assigned in the following manner:

Right tail light

Left tail light
Reverse lamp

6. Lay the wire set end with the white 12-pin plug, earth wires, and the yellow, gray/black wires
...to the left tail light.
Lay the gray/red, red/green and gray/yellow wires to the right tail light.
