Make sure any paving, furniture, walls, etc. present in
areas adjacent to the hot tub are suitable for use in
the conditions described above.
If the product is installed indoors, allow for the fact
that the evaporation of the water in the hot tub may
create very high levels of humidity (particularly when
the ambient temperature is high). Natural or forced
ventilation will help preserve user comfort and re-
duce damage to the building caused by humidity.
Jacuzzi Europe declines all responsibility for any dam-
age caused by excessive humidity or by overflowing
water. Consult a specialist for indoor installations.

C AUTION: Before preparing the drainage system to
connect the hot tub to, consult the local authorities
for the regulations regarding disposing of chemically
treated drained water.

3, parts V) For periodic emptying of the hot tub, connect
■ (
a pipe to the indicated drain valve.
■ A valve can also be installed near the drain (
used instead of the factory installed valve (always leave it open);
this means you do not have to remove the panel on the technical
compartment every time.
0
3, part H2) When installing the system indoors in par-
■ (
ticular, we recommend using a collection pit (H2) under the hot
tub base (a hole will need to be made). As there is a large amount
of water in the spa, this is a useful precaution if water acciden-
tally escapes and collects inside the base.
NOTE:
- The collection pit (H2) will be connected to the main drain pit (H1).
■ You can use a garden hose to fill the hot tub.
m
Any connections to the drinking water supply network
(other than those suggested) must be made in compli-
ance with standard EN1717, adopting anti-pollution
protective met hods "AA", "AB" or "AD".
For further information, we recommend you contact
your water supply company and/or your plumber.

Preparing the electrical connections

■ The electrical connection for the hot tub (
made as follows:
- single-phase line (220-240V 1~)
- three-phase line consisting of 2 phase conductors + neutral
- three-phase line consisting of 3 phase conductors + neutral
■ The rated power supply voltage of the equipment is al-
ways 220-240V.
■ The equipment can also be installed in Countries where
the 220-240V voltage is supplied by a two-phase system. For
the connection please refer to the instruction manual.
■ The installer must in any case use properly protected cables
with a suitable cross-section (220-240 V~: min. 4 mm
V~: min. 2,5 mm
VV-F.
■ Provision of a timer with time switch - "silence" function
This function prevents the automatic start of the pumps (filtering
cycle); It can therefore help to reduce the noise present in the envi-
0

ronment (e.g. during the night).
Activation takes place via the signal that a timer, or time switch,
sends to the tub electronic box.
When this function is used, it is necessary to prepare a timer
equipped with a normally open contact, to be connected to the
electronic box using a 2x0,75 mm
Refer to the installation manual for the wiring diagram and de-
tails about the operation.
■ To ensure the degree of protection required by the standards
against water splashes, and to make it is easier to connect to
the electrical mains, the electronic control box on the hot tub is
equipped with a M25x1.5mm cable clamp.
■ The cable cross-section measurements must be chosen
according to the system consumption, as well as the cable
routes and distances, the chosen protective systems, and
the specific standards for fixed electrical systems in force in
the country where the hot tub is installed.
■ The installer must comply with the above, as well as using wa-
tertight fittings at the junction points, and ensuring compli-
ance with the specific standards for fixtures in force in the
country where the hot tub is installed.

CAUTION: (IEC 60335-1) The pressure of the hydraulic
system feeding the equipment must not exceed 600

valves for the water supply, the pressure must be mini-
mum 35 kPa (0.35 bar).
