Prior to first use always read the safety instruc-
tions!
— Failure to observe the instruction manual and the
safety instructions could result in damage to the
device and danger for the operator and others.
All persons involved in the commissioning, opera-
tion and maintenance of the device must be
appropriately qualified.
The safety instructions must not be lost – give
them to the operator.
Danger due to ejected parts
If a workpiece, an accessory or even the tool
bit itself breaks, parts can be thrown out at high
speed.
When using the threaded fastener tool, always
wear impact-resistant eye protection. The level of
protection required should be specially assessed
for every particular use.
It must be ensured that the workpiece is safely
secured.
Hazards due to entanglement/draw-
ing in
Hazards due to entanglement/drawing in can
lead to suffocation, scalping and/or cutting
injuries, if loose clothing, personal jewellery, neck
chains, hair or gloves are not kept away from the
tool and its accessories.
Gloves can get caught in the rotating drive,
which can lead to injuries or fractures of the
fingers.
When using rotating drive sockets and extension
bars, the entanglement/drawing in of rubber or
metal-reinforced gloves can occur easily.
Do not wear loose-fitting gloves or gloves with
cut-off or worn glove fingers.
Never hold the drive, socket or drive extension.
Keep your hands away from the rotating drive.
