4. Connecting and disconnecting filters
• Connecting
(see Figures Annex 2.1)
Push the threaded section of the filter against the inlet opening in the face section and firmly
tighten it in the clockwise direction.
NOTICE
Be careful not to damage the thread or the seals; perform the tightening with your hand only.

To remove turn the filter in the counter-clockwise direction.
5. Putting on and taking off
Putting on
1.
Loosen the strap by pushing the buckle axis towards the mask and pulling the strap. (Fig. 3.1)
2.
Hold the right and the left straps by both hands. Insert your chin into the lower face piece
and drag the straps over your head. (Fig. 3.2)
3.
Align the mask with your face and gradually and carefully tighten all straps from 1 to 6
(Fig. 3.3).
NOTICE
1.
Make sure the mask is not misaligned on your face.
2. Any hair caught inside the mask could cause air-tightness disruption.
4.
Pull the head straps downwards and backwards, to eliminate any free space in the front section.
5.
Push the eye window towards your head and gradually firmly tighten all the straps from 1 to 6.
6.
Perform an air-tightness test. (see „8. Air-tightness test")
Taking off
(see Figures Annex 4.1 - 4.3)
1.
Loosen the head straps by lightly pulling the buckle away from your head.
2.
Hold the mask at the chin section by both hands, pull it away from your head and remove it.
