6.4.4 Operation
Warning
• Before starting the device, check the power cable and the main switch
for proper connection/functioning.
• Switch on the main switch. The device starts up.
• The TOPITEC
screen.
• Select the relevant category.
• Place a filled jar equipped with a mixer in the device:
Position the sealed jar with the tool in the ring on the plate. Ensure that
the tabs of the jar engage in the holes to prevent the jar from turning.
Using the lever, press the locking plate onto the jar so that the jar is prop-
erly secured in its position. Engage the mixer shaft into the protruding
shaft receptacle with holder. If the shaft receptacle is mounted incorrectly,
a crush hazard exists between the shaft receptacle and the tool shaft re-
ceptacle.
The mixer shaft must be firmly placed in the holder with the clamp so that
it engages in the tool shaft receptacle. The shaft must be in a vertical posi-
tion. Do not start the device, if you suspect that the shaft is not properly
positioned and secured. Never reach into the mechanism while it is in mo-
tion, as there is a serious risk of injury from entanglement and crushing!
• After the mixing process is completed, switch off the device (see chapter
6.4.5, page 37).
Warning
When in operation, the device must be constantly supervised.
6.4.5 Switching off the mixing system
To switch off the mixing system, proceed as follows:
• After the mixing process is completed, remove the mixing jar from the holder.
• Switch off the main switch.
• Clean the TOPITEC ® EXPERT and its accessories.
• If the device is not to be operated for a prolonged period of time, switch it off
at the main switch and disconnect the power cable.
6.4.6 Restarting mixing system after error or fault
If the mixing system has been affected by a fault or error, first have the problem eliminated by a
specialist technician. After a thorough inspection of the device, restart it.
6.4.7 Restarting after power failure
When the power returns, move the mixing system by hand to its initial position and check it. If
everything is OK, set the device to automatic mode.
