4.0- LOADING AND UNLOADING

To avoid damaging in transit or when unloading:-
- The unit will not be subjected to knocks of any kind, and is properly protected.
- The Slings & lifting equipment of a suitable size will be used (Check total weight from delivery documentation). See
sketch below
- The unit should only be lifted or moved as shown in the attached drawing.
- If lifting with a crane ensure the point of lift is the centre of gravity of the unit.
- When lifting by crane, ensure no force is exerted on the machine that could cause damage.
- All F1 units with soundproofed cabins can be transported using a crane as shown the diagram, or by using a forklift
truck.
DN-50/80/100/150/200/250/300
(STANDARD UNITS)
For transporting units until size DN-150, you can use a standard pallet machine.
For DN-200 to DN-300 sizes, the minimum fork length for the pallet machine will be respectively 1400,1600 and 1650
millimetres. The smaller hoods can be lifted up by means of eyebolts (DN-50/80/100/150/200) with the blower and the
heaviest motor inside. This is not allowed for the biggest packages. Packages size DN-250 and DN-300 cannot be lifted up
using the roof eyebolts.
