*.Electrical connection or disconnection should only be carried out by qualified electrician.
* Ensure you are familiar with the type or starter required and that the motor is wired accordingly.
* The motor is installed on a sliding plate. Allow sufficient length of cable for motor movement when tensioning or
changing the belts.
*FILL WITH OIL UP TO THE LEVEL INDICATED on the sight glass or label next to it.

5.1- START- UP
* SEE section 8 for correct oil fill method.
* CHECK THAT THE OIL SUMPS HAVE BEEN FILLED TO THE CORRECT LEVEL WITH CORRECT GRADE
OF OIL. CHECK THE OIL LEVEL WINDOWS AND EXTERNAL LEVEL GLASS (F1 cabin only) ARE SHOWING
THE SAME LEVEL.
* Check that the oil filler and drain valves are shut and not leaking.
* Check the DIRECTION of ROTATION of the blower /motor, as per direction arrow on the blower. To do this we
recommend the drive belts are removed and the motor rotation checked. This will avoid damage to the machine due to
incorrect rotation.
* Check that the system pipe is not blocked and all isolation valves are open.
* Check that the ventilation fan is not blocked and the filter cartridge is clean, if the unit has been stored or placed in a
dusty atmosphere.
* Check that the ventilation fan of the cabin is connected and that the direction in which it turns is correct.
* Check the correct tension of the belts.
* If the motor is connected to a frequency converter, check that the start-up frequency is correct considering minimum
and maximum speeds of motor and blower. Set converter/starter as constant torque.
* Relief valve is preliminary set. Check the proper set point during start up. When working relief valve is closed without
leaks.
* The unit is now ready to be switched on.
* With the unit in operation under working conditions, check that the motor current indicated on the motor plate are not
exceeded.
