5.0- ASSEMBLY AND PREPARATION FOR START-UP
- Before positioning the unit or blower, the support surface should be completely dry and clean, with no oil or rubble.
-The units should be mounted on a concrete floor that can support the package loads.
- Dust or debris from foundation bolt holes will be removed and the holes themselves cleaned out with compressed air.
CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO AVOID INJURY WHEN USING COMPRESSED AIR, USE SUITABLE P.P.E
- The surface will be perfectly flat.
- Once the machine is in position and supported, the holes can be drilled on the surfaces and the impact anchor bolts put in
place.
BEFORE TIGHTENING THE ANCHORING BOLTS, LEVEL THE UNIT USING THE SHIMS INCLUDED IN
THE KIT SO THAT ALL THE OIL SIGHTS OF THE MACHINE INDICATE THE SAME LEVEL AND ALSO
THE SAME LEVEL AS THE EXTERNAL SIGHT GLASS ON THE ENCLOSURE PANEL.
- The discharge connection on a pressure blower or inlet pipe on an exhauster should have a flexible connection or axial
compensator to eliminate vibration in the pipe system.
- If the unit is located in a room, check that the air intake is adequate for this and any other plant or machinery in the room.
- Install an earth strap on the motor, base frame and acoustic cabinet to prevent charges and discharges of static electricity.
IMPORTANT: INCORRECT LEVELLING COULD CAUSE
SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE BLOWER.
