Pulse power and mean power
Pulse power (Pp)
The pulse power is the peak power of the pulse, i.e.
the height of the pulse as shown in the diagram at
the right.
Mean power (P)
The mean power is determined by the pulse power,
the pulse duration and the pulse frequency.
The mean power resulting from the parameters set
can be displayed by switching from the pulse power
selector to the mean power selector.
The figure below indicates the mean power at different pulse frequency and pulse width at a puls power of 200
Watt. The grey columns indicate the values with use of Circuplode-E. The grey columns are not applicable for
the Circuplodes 90 and 140 mm. These columns indicates additional values for the Circuplode-E.
