FM radio operation

Automatic station scan with station storage (AMS)
The automatic station scan with station memory scans the entire frequency
band once and automatically saves the found FM radio stations as a station
list.
• This device must be switched on. If necessary, briefly press the Standby
button to switch on the device.
• Briefly press the SOURCE/BT button (several times if necessary) until
FM radio mode FM is shown on the LCD display.
• Press the dial for approx. 2 seconds to start the automatic station scan.
The progress of the scan is shown as a progress bar and the number
of stations found is shown on the LCD display. The FM radio stations
found are automatically stored in the station list on order of increasing
frequency. When the scan is finished, the first station in the station list
is automatically played.
NOTE
An automatic station scan with station saving may overwrite an existing
station list.
Selecting stations
• Briefly press the TUNE+ or TUNE- button to select an FM radio station
from the station list.
• Press the dial to confirm the selection.
Manual station scan
• Briefly press the dial to switch to the next receivable station with a
higher or lower frequency.
• The frequency of the station is shown on the LCD display and the
speaker is switched off during station scan.
Manual frequency selection
• Press the TUNE+ or TUNE- button for about 2 seconds to change the
FM frequency in 0 .05 MHz increments. The current FM frequency is
shown on the LCD display.
Scan setting
The Scan setting function allows you to set whether all receivable FM radio
stations should be found during a scan or only radio stations with a strong
reception signal.
• In FM radio mode, press the INFO/MENU button for approx. 2 seconds
