Step 5
Attach the ICR Bracket to the Analyzer.
1. Attach the large mounting bracket, now secured to the ICR, to the
small mounting bracket.
2. Slide the large bracket over the small bracket, and secure the
assembly together by tightening the two captive Phillips set screws.
_________________________________________________________
NOTE: The ICR mounting bracket can ONLY be attached to
the right side of the Analyzer.
Do not place the ICR near any heat source or hot exhaust.

Step 6
- Attach the Sample Connections.
To enable the flow of sample from the Analyzer into the ICR, and then
from the ICR back to the Analyzer, you will need to attach the sample
connections.
This is a separate instruction from the "Connect the Sample Inlet
System" included in the Analyzer Operation and Maintenance Manual.
Both procedures MUST be completed before you can operate the ICR
with the Analyzer.
1. Locate the tubing provided in the ICR Accessories Kit to use in this
procedure.
2. On the back of the Analyzer, locate the ports labeled From ICR and
To ICR. Remove the U-shaped stainless steel tubing by loosening the
Valco fittings with a 1/4" open-end wrench (see Figure 3).

3. Attach tubing from the ICR port labeled Outlet to the Analyzer port
labeled From ICR. Tighten the Valco fitting with a 1/4" open-end
wrench.
4. Attach tubing from the ICR port labeled Inlet to Analyzer port labeled
To ICR. Tighten the Valco fitting with a 1/4" open-end wrench.
Step 7
- Attach Electronic Connections.
Attach the ICR communications cable and the AC power cord to the ICR.
1. Attach one end of the ICR Communications cable to the ICR and the
other end to the Analyzer. You may need to remove the port covers
on both instruments before attaching the cable.
2. Connect the AC power cord to the back of the ICR and attach the
cord to a grounded power supply.
Step 8
- Prepare the Chemical Trap.
When connecting the chemical trap to the ICR, you will need the
tubing provided in the ICR accessories kit.
1. Locate the air inlet tubing in the ICR Accessories Kit.
2. Attach the tubing from the chemical trap to the ICR by tightening
the brass nuts on each end of the tubing with a 5/16" open-end
wrench.
3. Remove the plug (John Guest fitting) from the front of the chemical
trap by pressing inward on the black base with one hand, while you
pull the red fitting out with the other hand.
