1. Approval „OPERATOR EXCERPT"
This is a translation of the German original document

This General Construction Inspection Approval consists of nine pages
and five annexes with 18 pages.

II. PARTICULAR REGULATIONS
1
Object of approval and area of application
(1) The Object of this General Construction Inspection Approval
is factory-produced containers described „UNITECH 1500 l" in
page
10-15
Annex 1, consisting of a polyethylene (PE-HD) interior container
produced in a blow moulding process and -an external container

made of galvanised sheet steel. The containers are manufactured
with a capacity of 1,500 litres. On the top of the containers there

are four connection point devices for filling, flushing -with air and
ventilation, protection against overfilling, emptying and fill level
monitoring.
The containers are placed on a steel mounting frame.
(2) The containers may only be placed within buildings, and not in
Zone 0 and 1 areas with a risk of explosion.
(3) The containers can be utilised for storage at normal pressure
of the following liquids:
1 Heating oil EL conforming to DIN 51603-1
2 Diesel fuel conforming to DIN EN 590
3 Diesel fuel conforming to DIN EN 14214
4 Lubricating oils, hydraulic oils, heat transfer oils grade Q -
5 Lubricating oils, hydraulic oils, heat transfer oils Q grade etc.,
6 Vegetable oils such as cotton seed-, olive-, rapeseed-, castor- or

the containers may be joined together in a container system by
use of the „Füllstar" type filling system (plastic) with a maximum of
five containers in a row or using a filling system of type „Füllstar M"
(metal) with two end-to-end connected containers each with a non-
communicating discharge system.
Filling and removal systems are not covered by this general
construction inspection approval.
(5) The containers are equipped with a leak detector with General
Construction Inspection Approval as a leak detection system.
(6) This General Construction Inspection Approval satisfies the
obligation to obtain a suitability determination for water regulations
and the qualification approval under § 19 h of the Water
Resources Act.
(7) The validity of this general construction inspection approval
applies from the date of assembly or installation of the approved
article and not from the date of its subsequent use.
