USE
Before each use, verify that the unit is in good condition, the electric cord is not
damaged, if the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or a competent qualified electrician or a person with similar qualifications, in order
to avoid any risk.
The fan functions can be operated using either the pushbuttons on the control
panel, or with the remote control. The remote control must be pointed in the
direction of the control panel, and batteries should be inserted beforehand (Open
the rear cover and insert two "AAA" batteries, checkly the appropriate polarity,
close the cover). Batteries are not included in the package.
Insert the plug into the socket.
Ventilation:
1) To turn on the fan, press "ON-SPEED" (C) on the remote control or on the
control panel. To select the desired speed, keep pressing the "ON-SPEED" button
on the control panel or on the remote control and the light will come on
according to the speed selected (Low=minimum, Med=medium, Hi= maximum).
2) Horizontal oscillation (right-left): this is selected with the "SWING" button
(B) on the remote control. To stop the motion, press the "SWING" button.
3) Vertical inclination (high-low): this
is adjusted by holding the motor housing
and directing it to the desired direction,
the lowest position should be as shown in
figure 1, the body of the fan must not
touch the rod like in Figure 2; tighten the
screw (16) to lock the motor housing in
the desired position.
Timer: This feature allows you to set the time of operation, after which the unit will
stop automatically.
• To set the operating time, press the "TIMER" button on the remote control (16):
Each press of the button changes the time set and the indicator light
corresponding to the selected time on the control panel lights up (0.5 hours-1
hour - 2 hours - 4 hours): the maximum time is 7 hours and 30 mins. To disable
the timer, set the maximum time, then press the "TIMER" button.
• Mode: The fan can be operated either at a constant speed and at two different
intermittent modes; on "natural", runs alternately to the maximum and average
speed, and off for a few moments; on "Sleep" runs at alternating and intermittent
speeds different from the previous one. Mode selection is done by pressing the
corresponding "STYLE" button only on the remote control: each press of the
button changes the mode.
• To turn the fan off, press "0-OFF" and then unplug it from the mains.
When not in use for long periods, the plug must always be removed from
the socket.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes except under special instruction from Bimar (Italy).
The pages must be reproduced and folded in order to obtain
a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x 210 mm height). When
folding, make sure you keep the good numbering when you
turn the pages of the I/B. Don't change the page numbering.
