43. RECHARGE

SPECIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER.
A charger that is suitable for one type of battery may
create a risk of fi re when used with another battery.
44. USE POWER TOOLS ONLY WITH SPECIFICALLY
DESIGNATED BATTERIES.
Use of any other batteries may create a risk of injury
and fi re.
45. WHEN BATTERY IS NOT IN USE, KEEP IT AWAY
FROM OTHER METAL OBJECTS LIKE PAPER
CLIPS, COINS, KEYS, NAILS, SCREWS, OR
OTHER SMALL METAL OBJECTS, THAT CAN
MAKE A CONNECTION FROM ONE TERMINAL
TO ANOTHER.
Shorting the battery terminals together may cause
burns or a fi re.
46. UNDER ABUSIVE CONDITIONS, LIQUID MAY BE
EJECTED FROM THE BATTERY; AVOID CONTACT.
IF CONTACT ACCIDENTALLY OCCURS, FLUSH
WITH WATER. IF LIQUID CONTACTS EYES,
ADDITIONALLY SEEK MEDICAL HELP.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or
burns.
WARNING
The operation of any compressor can result in foreign objects being thrown into your eyes, which
can result in severe eye damage. Before beginning compressor operation, always wear safety
goggles , safety glasses with side shields, or a full face shield when needed. We recommend Wide
Vision Safety Mask for use over eyeglasses or standard safety glasses with side shields. Always
use eye protection which is marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1.
Repairs should be conducted only by a metabo HPT authorized service center.

When servicing use only identical replacement parts.
47. Because the cordless air compressor operates by
battery power, be aware of the fact that it can begin to
operate at any time.
48. Do not use the product if the tool or the battery
terminals (battery mount) are deformed.
Installing the battery could cause a short circuit that
could result in smoke emission or ignition.
49. Keep the tool's terminals (battery mount) free of swarf
and dust.
○ Prior to use, make sure that swarf and dust have not
collected in the area of the terminals.
○ During use, try to avoid swarf or dust on the tool from
falling on the battery.
○ When suspending operation or after use, do not leave
the tool in an area where it may be exposed to falling
swarf or dust.
Doing so could cause a short circuit that could result
in smoke emission or ignition.
50. CHECK DAMAGED PARTS. BEFORE FURTHER
USE OF THE AIR COMPRESSOR OR AIR TOOL,
A GUARD OR OTHER PART THAT IS DAMAGED
SHOULD
BE
CAREFULLY
DETERMINE THAT IT WILL OPERATE PROPERLY
AND PERFORM ITS INTENDED FUNCTION.
CHECK FOR ALIGNMENT OF MOVING PARTS,
BINDING OF MOVING PARTS, BREAKAGE
OF PARTS, MOUNTING, AND ANY OTHER
CONDITIONS
THAT
OPERATION. A GUARD OR OTHER PART THAT
IS DAMAGED SHOULD BE PROPERLY REPAIRED
OR REPLACED BY AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE
CENTER.
