A
Do not mount the device on an unstable surface
B
Do not mount the device on an unstable pole.
C
Do not mount the device near trees or other objects that may block the beam.

When mounting on a pole, the pole diameter size should be 34 - 48 mm (1.34" - 1.89").

Direct sunlight can affect device performance. Avoid mounting the device where it is
exposed to a lot of direct sunlight.

Mount the device at a height of 0.7 to 1m (2.3 ft to 3.3 ft).

Mount the device at least 1 m (3.3 ft.) away from a wall or fence that is parallel to the
beam.
H
Do not mount the device where the infrared beam from a different model can reach the
receiver
Important: Completely install all components of the detector to comply with the IP65 standard requirements.
Additional guidelines
Avoid cables being caught between the chassis and back-box when mounting this device.
If you accidentally open an unnecessary knockout, be sure to fill the knockout. Not doing so may result in
waterproof failure and malfunction of the product. The sealant used can be silicone or plastic putty. Do not use
Siloxane as this may corrode the PCB. Sealant with less than 0.1% Siloxane is acceptable.
Do not touch or move the optical unit when mounting the cover. This may shift the optical axis and require a
readjustment.
Avoid mounting the transmitter and receiver at a 45
by 50%.
Ensure the waterproof packing is attached before mounting to preserve the IP rating of the device.
