14.3 Error codes
The following error codes may appear in the status display (c):
Error code Cause
The condensate container is
E4
full�
The sensor for determining the
E2 room temperature is disturbed
or defective�
The sensor for monitoring the
E3 evaporator is disturbed or de-
fective�
The sensor for monitoring the
E5 compressor is disturbed or de-
fective�
The set timer has expired�
The set temperature has been
reached�
The condensate container is full
and the error code "E4" appe-
ars in the status display�
The air conditioner is installed
in an unsuitable location�
Refrigerant is flowing through
the cooling circuit�
Deposits or mould have formed
in the air conditioner�
→ Switch the air conditioner on again�
→ Set a lower temperature or wait for the
next cooling cycle�
→ Empty the condensate container (see
chapter 12�4)�
→ Move the air conditioner to a more suita-
ble location (see chapter 7�1)�
→ This does not represent a malfunction,
but is a normal operating noise�
→ Have the air conditioner professional-
ly cleaned by an authorised specialist
company for refrigeration and air condi-
tioning�
Solution
→ Empty the condensate container (see chapter
12�4)�
If this error code occurs very frequently, contact
the dealer or manufacturer or contact an autho-
rised specialist company for refrigeration and air
conditioning�
→ Contact the dealer or manufacturer or contact
an authorised specialist company for refrigerati-
on and air-conditioning technology�
